About Us

We are a social enterprise...

We are a social enterprise with an environmental mission, aiming to educate people about our environment and inspire action. We create creative, hands-on experiences and opportunities for people to deeply connect with and learn about the environment and live in a way that is more in harmony with our ecosystem. We operate our fun community events and art installations as non-profit programs, supported by grants, sponsorship, and our consulting work with businesses and custom experiences. We are focused on supporting diversity in our workplace, providing youth with work experience, choosing environmentally-friendly practices and materials when possible or ensuring we have a plan for repair, reuse and upcycle, running sustainable, low-impact events, and we spread environmental and social justice messaging through our work and ways for people to take action. We will be sharing an annual Benefit report to detail our social enterprise's journey towards our mission this year.

We enjoy...

Arts and creativity, facilitation, social innovation and better business, project management, environmental and climate change education, creating community and connection in a disconnected world, and inspiring unconventional thinking and a love of nature.

We are spearheaded by...

Our Creative Director, Melanie Lazelle, who has ended up in Squamish after exploring the world and engaging with social enterprises and innovative projects tackling local issues; creating unforgettable immersive experiences; educating on sustainability and climate change; and researching what impactful, ethical business looks like. Along the way she built a tiny house, started an ethical fashion company, completed her Masters in International Development, journeyed around India learning about what impactful business looks like and exploring supply chains from cotton fields to clothing factories, climbed to Everest Base Camp, and won a prize for her home-grown vegetables. Mel

We are so honoured to be able to live and learn on the beautiful unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation. Every day we take a moment to put our hands on this earth, and be mindful about what this means and the generational trauma that has come and will continue to come with society's choices. Every day we strive to work with others to be stewards of this incredible land and to acknowledge and hold space for those who came before, and we welcome opportunities to do more and to do better.

Let's Connect
